Background:Luciana Freire is originally from Brazil, where she lived from childhood until she moved to the U.S. in the late 1990's. Luciana has spent the majority of her life teaching yoga, health and wellness, and substitutes in the United States. Luciana has also been teaching yoga for over 10 years, having started as a Substitute Teacher before moving on to being a Health and Wellness Coach, Leading Yogini, and finally a Teacher at Ritual Yoga Arts, where she currently teaches. Luciana has a background in education, having completed her undergraduate degree at Universidad de São Paulo in Portuguese and stayed on to continue her education at the São Paulo State University of Education, where she obtained her Master's degree in Education. Luciana has also worked in the corporate world, most notably as the Manager of a Business Consultant Unit. Luciana is currently a Teacher at Villa Pilates and Yoga, where she has taught Yoga for the last 8 years. Luciana has also worked as a substitute teacher, sometimes teaching yoga in the evening and at other times in the morning. In her spare time, Luciana likes to read and sunbathe.
