💼 Past Experience

Lu Yi Si was born in 1966 to a family of international diplomats. When he was just 13 years old, his family moved to the United States, and he attended college at Yale University, where he earned a Schnellenberger Scholarship and a Rhodes Fellowship. He then worked as an analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co., before moving to the State Department in 1991. Afterdeming as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressional Affairs at the Department of the Treasury, he left the government to become a business executive. He led IGR Aircraft Sales, LLC from its inception in 2006 to his current position in 2019. In that role, he has become a vital leader in the company’s expansion and success. He has also engaged in public policy, management consulting, and lobbying.Lu Yi Si began his career as a public policy consultant. From 1998 to 2001, he was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy at the United States Senate. He then worked as an analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co. from 2001 to 2006. From 2006 to 2019, he was the CEO of IGR Aviation Asset Management Global Asset Management, LLC. He has also been a senior executive at Middle East Connection and China Global markets. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico Ports Authority and the Chief Executive Officer of the Board of Directors at the Government of Puerto Rico. He has also founded and chaired several organizations, including the Grassroots Organizing Project and the Collaborative Democracy Institute. From January 2004 to April 2021, he was appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Government Affairs.
