She has 20 years of experience in the legal, corporate and technology-related industries. Liz Coyne holds a B.A. in English from the University of Missouri in 1979. Coyne worked as a personal assistant to a U.S. Senator and then as a tribunal lawyer in the United Kingdom. After three years of work as an administrative law judge, she became a Singaporean lawyer. Coyne then worked as an attorney at the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York from 1991-1996. From 1997-2001, she was a Trial Attorney atinduced by the New York Appeals Tribunal, one of the most prestigious and influential trial lawodies in the United States. From 2001-2004, Coyne was a Trial Attorney at the Boston Law Firm of Morrison,Goodrich & Foerster. Coyne then worked as the Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Oneidas, Inc. from 2004-2009. From 2009-2013, she was the Dean of the School of Law at the University of Glasgow. Coyne's current role at Accolade, Inc. is as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner.

Liz Coyne has a B.A. Psychology from Georgetown University and a Minor in Women's Studies from La Salle University. Coyne is currently an Athlete at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Coyne has enjoyed a successful Track & Cross Country career, Highlights of which include NCAA Championships two years in a row and a collegiate record in the shot put. Coyne’s also been a member of USA Track & Cross Country’s National Team for Olympics in 2004 and 2008. Coyne is excited for her new challenge at UNC Chapel Hill and looks forward to continuing her successfulTrack & Cross Country career. Coyne has always enjoyed keeping up with current events and is excited to find out more about the UNC Chapel Hill women’s lacrosse team and the upcoming season.
