Lauren Hasson is an experienced software engineer, who has worked in both the technology and economic sectors. She currently has a position as a Manager, Software Engineering at icitizen, where she was responsible for two nationally-distributed software engineering departments powering four customer-facing products. Lauren also partnered with executive management team to develop and implement strategic business, technology, and process initiatives. She also coached, and mentored senior managers and junior-level engineers. Lauren has also worked in the investment banking and product development industries, and is currently a Founder at DevelopHer, where she empower tech women to own their careers and advocate for themselves.Lauren Hasson’s prior experience extends to notable experience in product development and market research. Her experience in product development includes working on three revenue-generating, consumer-facing, high-traffic native iOS apps, as well as IPA development, market analysis, due diligence, and deal marketing. Her prior experience in market research includes conducting due diligence sessions and preparing offering memorandums and deal marketing materials. Lauren also has experience in the securities industry and is currently working on a Monte Carlo acquisition model. Lauren Hasson has received several awards for her work, including a top-pilot award from the Dallas/Fort Worth Area Chapter of the International Cruise Ship clkeway and a Dallas/Fort Worth Area Chamber Award for being an up and coming entrepreneur. Lauren Hasson's education has been rich in experience and education. After being Valedictorian and National Merit Scholar at Westlake High School in 2010, she then attend the Leadership Texas program from 2010-2013. There, she learned about the business world and doctrine of management. During her two years at Duke University, she received her B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Allison's undergraduate work prepared her for her current career as a leadership judge and teacher.
