💼 Past Experience

So far, my experience in the industry has been focused on both product and business development, as well as events planning. I have been involved with a wide range of startups and well-known businesses, from media companies to luxury brands. My experience with product development has included working on a wide range of projects such as developing software for a leading video-sharing platform, working on mortarboards for a luxury hotel, and developing a smartwatch app. With business development, I have worked on a variety of projects such as developing an advertising platform for a leading digital media company, and designing and launching new products for a leading lifestyle brand. In both instances, my experience with starting and managing a project was key to success.My greatest triumph to date has been developing Eventive, a company that has Granted Over $1B inogenous business value to brands including Nike, Adidas, Burberry, Manhattan Beach, and Lululemon Athletica. Eventive is a grow-operating business with partnerships across industries including music, healthcare, food delivery, and retail. We are the first mobile event management platform to be featured on the Forbes “ 400 appalled” list. Our platform helps businesses plan, manage, and execute 500 million live events a year.What excites me most about my work is the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that impact people’s lives. In fact, I am so obsessed with events that I regularly drift into work early in the morning JUST TO START planning events. And the most exciting part is that I get to work with some of the world’s greatest entrepreneurs and leaders and see the impact their innovations have on people’s lives. It’s a truly amazing feeling to see such a positive, positive change in somebody’s life as a result of what we tell them to do.

Kim Thurmann holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Danish business school, Copenhagen Business School. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen. Thurmann completed her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia in Canada.
