It began when Kenneth Wilkerson was hired as the President at Wilkerson Consulting LLC in Carr, Co., which was then a part of Wilkerson Consulting, Inc. He then became the Owner/President at Wilkerson Consulting LLC in Carr, Co. before moving to Frontier Drilling in January 2005. There he was the Rig Manager for the company for one year. He then move to Three Peaks Oil & Gas in February 2018 to become the Chief Operating Officer. There he was the President for 9 months.After his time with Three Peaks Oil & Gas he moved on to United States in October 2018 to work at ExxonMobil. Afterward, Wilkerson studied at The Ohio State University, earning his graduate degree in political science in 1998.Wilkerson's professional experience has included working in a number of capacities in the U.S. government, both in Republican and Democratic administrations. Wilkerson served as the Under-Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security from 2006 to 2009 and as the Under-Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy from 2009 to 2011. He also served as the Boardman Scholar in Political Science at The Ohio State University from 2006 to 2009.Wilkerson has also been a member of the Board of Trustees of The Heritage Foundation since 2004.
