HR Director @ From June 2015 to October 2015 (5 months) HR Manager-Healthcare System Talent Acquisition/Recruitment @ After a year of serving as a Senior HR Generalist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, I won the role of System Recruitment Manager for Allied and Ancillary service lines. Two years later, I transitioned to Nursing Services System Recruitment Manager.
I have most appreciated being able to 'color outside of the lines', having accomplished:
-Selected for and led internal and external projects-notably, automating hiring manager satisfaction survey (improved response rate from 12% to 28% first year) and hiring manager training for ATS (just-in-time training), performance optimization (first year retention), workforce planning (projecting transition);
-Managed, mentored, and celebrated successes of 10 Recruiters and 2 Talent Acquisition Specialists-4 are rated 'Top' Performers; 8 are high-end 'Significant' Performers; also served as interim department director for 2 quarters of 2011 (responsible for 33 employees);
-Co-led our department to be named an Elite Recruitment Organization by LEAN Human Capital-most notable impact from Nurse Recruitment (2011, 2012);
-Developed direct staff and other employees via organizational development-performance management, facilitating learning (average participant evaluation score of 5-highest ranking);
-Achieved stretch goals in productivity/vacancy rate (3.5% actual-4.5% stretch goal) responsiveness (36 days time-to-fill actual-41 days stretch goal), hiring manager satisfaction (4.66 actual-5.0 stretch goal);
-Succeeded by reaching in 90th percentile in employee engagement survey results;
-Completed full cycle recruitment of Leadership positions and other critical staffing needs for Ancillary and Nursing service lines-128 positions filled since April, 2010. From August 2008 to May 2015 (6 years 10 months) HR Manager @ Though my tenure was short at Regency, I accomplished quite a bit. Some notable accolades include:
-Created a corporate retention plan as a member of the RHC Corporate Retention and Recruitment Strategies Committee;
-Designed and implemented new employee recognition programs (employee-of-the-month and performance recognition);
-Increased retention rates from 77% (March) to 84% (April) and 89% (May) targeted stabilizing core employee base of full-time/part-time employees. From March 2008 to August 2008 (6 months) Senior Resource Staffing Manager @ Having serviced domestic and global staffing needs of FMC, I was able to expand my role and be an HR Practitioner who delved into operations and business development. This was unique and exciting as I was able to accomplish:
-Serving as Staffing Manager for business units, which included 7 regions with 300+ clinics;
-Project manager for payroll, benefits, and RMS solutions implementation and creation of internal travel nurse staffing division;
-Deputy to director of international recruitment, coordinating nationwide (6 business units) international nurse recruitment and per diem internal staff placement in 1,600+ clinics and contracted sites;
-Interim HR Director (5 employees) to Central Business Unit (employee relations issues, staffing);
-Training all field and internal staffing managers (9 employees) and division employees (2 employees);
-Selected as Area Manager to service clinics in Dallas and surrounding areas;
-Develop and facilitate college relations program, leadership training and development programs concerning RSM training, employee selection, interviewing, recruitment, retention, sexual harassment, and adult learning. From March 2004 to July 2007 (3 years 5 months)
