💼 Past Experience

Since starting her work experience journey in piano, Kayla has been exploring different aspects of education, specifically in the field of culture and society. She has been working in the field of psychology for over 6 years and in the last 2 years, she has been a presenter, professor, learning lab assistant, and marketing lead for the company Bantu App Inc. Currently, she is a President at the Harvard Society of Mind, Brain, and Behavior and a Research Assistant at the Brain.Experience.Education Lab at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Kayla Evans has a B.S. from Harvard University in 2015. She then obtained a Master's degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2019. She has also studied at the University of Uganda, India, and Brazil at the School of International Training from 2018 to 2018.What attracted Evans to the fields of education and international training?Since she was very young, Kayla has been passionate about helping others. She has always been interested in helping others learn and grow, and has found a great passion in education and international training.Kayla is knowledgeable in a variety of fields, including education, international training, and policy. She is also well- prepared to be an educator and an importantly, an international adviser.

Kayla Evans is president at the Harvard Society of Mind, Brain, and Behavior (HSMBB), where she served from 2017-2018. From February 2017-May 2017, she was an Assistant Research Assistant at the Brain.Experience.Education Lab at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). From October 2015-April 2017, she was a Mentorship Chair at the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers (HSBSE). She also was a Winter Intern at the Digital Government Unit of México from January 2016-January 2016 and a Summer Associate at the Boston Consulting Group from June 2018-August 2018. From September 2012-February 2013, she was a Research Assistant at the Harvard Business School. From January 2018-May 2018, she was a Research Intern at ION Scholar at Emory University School of Medicine, Institute on Neuroscience at Yerkes. From June 2013-December 2013, she was a Podcast Host at The Hopenclass in Paris, Ile-de-France, France. From November 2016-May 2019, she was a Learning Lab undergraduate fellow at Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard University. When she was not working, she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and spending time with friends.
