Katia Calu's Work experience at TÓPICO began from February 2016 where she was assistant to theGerente de RH at Tópico. She then moved to Hypermarcas S/A where she was an analista de RH for six months until February 2013. Katia then worked at Promorar Engenharia e Construções Ltda where she was an assistant to theGerente de RH for five months until May 2001. From May 2002 to February 2003, she was a research assistant at Seguros Unimed.

Katia Calu is a graduate of Pós Graduação,Administração em Recursos Humanos, from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado. She completed her undergraduate degree in cum laude in Business Administration from Universidade Braz Cubas in January 1997. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Calu completed her graduate degree in Social Science from Universidade Braz Cubas in January 2001.Calu started her professional career in January 2011 at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado as a Research Auditor. She has also held positions as Research & Development Manager at ABB Brasil, a director at SBT Brasil, and a VP at HawkinsBracelet SA. Additionally, Calu has co-founded a number of companies, most recently as a President at SmallCraftGroups SA.Katia Calu is highly focused on her education and work readiness. She is currentlyossertingance with the Brazilian Academy of Accountancy and has been its delegate for the worldwide Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CVMBI) Annual meeting in Barcelona, Spain. She is also taking part in the dialogue on professionalism and innovation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CIBI). Additionally, Calu is the secretary-general of the Brazilian Forum for plumbers and pipefitters and of the Brazilian Association for the Advancement of Technology in the Construction Industry.Katia Calu has a strong interest in business and industry.
