Karen Harvey was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, where she studied economics and political science. In 2006, Karen Harvey achieved her doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago.After completing her undergraduate studies at Harvard University, Karen Harvey began her professional career as an economist.
