I am a Managing Director in Accenture’s financial services practice and the executive sponsor of the FinTech Innovation Lab London. During his 27-year career with Accenture, he has led a number of areas of the business including: - the UK Financial Services Strategy practice 2003-2005 - the UK Financial Business Consulting practice 2005-2007 - the UK Banking P&L for all types of Accenture work 2008-2010 - the UK Capital Markets P&L for all types of Accenture work 2010-11 - the Banking Practice for Europe, Latin America and Africa 2012-14 In conjunction with these roles Julian founded Accenture's UK payments practice and the London Fintech Innovation Lab. I have also managed the global relationship with some of the firms most strategic clients including HSBC and Deutsche Bank. I have also taken hands on roles in supporting and working with disruptive industry plays including forming and running a jv with a UK bank to create a new trading platform. I have had a diverse set of client advisory and delivery roles in 7 different countries including Indonesia where I lived for 2 years, France, Germany, Sweden and the US. I formerly sat on the Domestic Promotion Committee of City UK and the Corporate User Forum of the Payments Council. I care about promoting positive thinking, health and well-being and self-empowerment and have initiated support by Accenture for many causes including the British Triathlon Trust and the London Philharmonic Orchestra's Outreach programme. I speak fluent french, emerging german and rusty indonesian.
