Software Engineer @ From June 2014 to Present (1 year 6 months) Menlo Park, CATeaching Assistant - Computer Science Department @ Teaching Assistant for Computer Science 256 - Algorithm Design and Analysis - with Professor Lenhart
Teaching Assistant for Computer Science 237 - Computer Organization - with Professor Bailey
Teaching Assistant for Computer Science 334 - Principles of Programming Languages - with Professor Freund
Teaching Assistant for Computer Science 136 - Data Structures and Advanced Programming - with Professor McGuire From September 2012 to May 2014 (1 year 9 months) Founder and CTO @ I started Forward Labs Software Consulting to take advantage of the availability of other programmers at Williams College and to leverage our combined abilities, in particular for building native iOS apps. From February 2012 to April 2014 (2 years 3 months) Research Assistant - Computer Science Department @ I worked with Professor Danyluk on machine learning research. Our area of research was the identification of individual spotted salamanders without the use of invasive chemical tagging. We wanted to be able to identify not whether or not a given picture contained a salamander, but whether these two pictures were of the same salamander. We used machine learning techniques such as genetic algorithms and principle component analysis to optimize our classifier and simplify computation. From June 2013 to August 2013 (3 months) CTO and Co-Founder @ I was the technical co-founder and CTO of KYUR8, a photo-sharing app for iOS that allows users to share photo albums (zines) with their friends. From May 2012 to June 2013 (1 year 2 months) Intern @ My work with Scott Penberthy specialized in combining machine learning with Amazon Web Services to create an ML client in the cloud to distribute natural language processing among numerous EC2 instances. From June 2011 to March 2012 (10 months) Student Technical Consultant @ From 2010 to 2012 (2 years) Computer Consultant Intern @ From 2009 to 2010 (1 year)
