It took me a while to learn that nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.

Corporate Controller @ Director of the Accounting and Finance function at IOActive which includes entities in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, and South Africa (and growing!). Currently in charge of all aspects of financial statement preparation and review and delivering metrics to Senior Leadership.
Currently I am also developing, from scratch, a complete working budget and plus 3/minus 3 rolling forecast for the first time in the history of IOActive. While we are facing new and exciting challenges on daily basis here, I have managed to continue to focus on more common deliverables, such as reducing the close time (three weeks on my arrival, currently down to 7-8 days), creating efficiency enhancements, and making sure my staff feels supported and have the resources they need to succeed. Provided internal audit type service for a working capital calculation. From July 2010 to August 2010 (2 months) Senior Accountant @ As the Senior Accountant I was in charge of all billing and receivable transactions for the Company. I was also responsible for daily and weekly AP maintenance and daily cash management. This management process included foreign currency maintenance, prepaid expense maintenance, employee expense reports, and employee advances.
