I began my career in accountancy in 2006 as an Assistant Accountant in the sales and marketing department of a large blue chip company. I held a variety of other accountancy positions over the next few years and eventually transferred to the accountancy section of a niche technology company. In my time at the company I became educated in a variety of accountancy areas, spoke a wide range of languages, and worked in a variety of environments. I then transferred to management consultancy in 2010.In my first role as amanager, I had responsibility for all accounts at the company and was responsible for the management of budgets, revenue, and other strategically important accounts. I also managed a team of around 30 people and supervised a number of business units. I then moved onto a capacity management role, responsible for ensuring the correct levels of resources were allocated to different business units and ensuring that the business units delivered desired results.In my second role as amanager, I was responsible for the whole of the firm’s sales and marketing effort. I directed the sales and marketing teams of both company divisions, commissioned and flew out brand advertising, developed and directed sales target lists, and managed website and social media accounts. I also managed the company’s day-to-day operations.Overall, my time at the company saw me work with a range of complex business problems, learn a great deal about accountancy and capacity management, and have a hand in all the important decisions that Affected The Firm’s Overall Success.I am currently a Client Director NY Metro & NJ SSI at Optiv Inc. I have also worked as an accountancy representative for a major bank, in a sales and marketing role for a technology company, and in a management consultancy role. I hold a degree in Accountancy from the University of Portsmouth and a degree in Capacity Management from London Metropolitan University.
