Joerg Tewes holds a Diplom degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin. After completing his undergraduate Studies at Technische Universität Berlin, he started his professional career in 2000 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Google Brain. There he focused on Home Maklers and Support Vector Machines ( Banshee and TensorFlow), and worked together with fellow Researchers Marcelo Esterham and Yoshua Bengio. After finishing his Postdoctoral Fellowship at Google Brain, he joined the research group at research provider Research and Development (R&D) at Nvidia, where he focused on Game Theory and Streaming Gameplay. Joerg Tewes has held several roles at Nvidia including Research Manager for Game Theory and Streaming Gameplay, Laboratory Manager for Pascal GPUs and TensorFlow, and Manager of Nvidia Entertainment Experience. In his roles, he has been responsible for the development andLaunch of several groundbreaking Game Engines such as Trippy, Dunkirk, and Max Payne 3.
