Jinny LaRock's education has spanned over four decades, giving her the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced nurses in the United States. While her education has not been without its share of controversy, Jinny's journey has taught her a great deal about herself, and about the importance of having a solid education.After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Iowa, Jinny worked as a registered nurse for over two decades. During her time as a nurse, she specialized in night care, family care, and primary care. Her work experience equipped her well to become a nurse manager at a hospital in the city of Des Moines, Iowa.In 2006, Jinny moved to Houston, Texas to begin her career in the healthcare industry as a nurse manager at a tertiary care hospital. Afterappy six months, she decided that she did not like the lifestyle and desired to move back to Iowa. Jinny applied for and was accepted into the Nurse Manager program at the University of Iowa School of Nursing.Jinny is the only person to have earned a four-year degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa in the history of the program. While her education has not been without controversy, Jinny's journey has taught her a great deal about herself, and about the importance of having a solid education. Jinny is excited to be able to continue providing care to patients throughout her career.
