💼 Past Experience

I worked for Human Resources Business Partners at Kohl's department stores from May 2013 to August 2013. My experience ranged from product development intern in May 2013 to August 2013, to division manager- fashion and retail in April 2019 to March 2020. In my time as a Product Development Intern at Kohl's, I worked on a variety of projects including, but not limited to, a new line of T-Shirts, a new collection of skirts, and new pieces for the Women's Wear Daily show.In my time at Atrium Staffing, I was a Talent Director for the Fashion & Retail division. I managed and oversaw the daily operations of the division. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, recruitment, development, and review of employee reviews. I also managed the day-to-day operations of the division. My experience with Human Resources Business Partners gave me the opportunity to work with a range of different people and realize the importance of teamwork.I think the most valuable experience I had at Kohl's was the opportunity to work with different people and learn how to work together. I also learned a lot about myself and my abilities while working at Kohl's. Overall, I think the most valuable experience I had at Kohl's was the opportunity to learn about different aspects of the company and its business model.

Jennifer Swirnow is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Retail and Marketing. After completing her undergraduate degree, Swirnow worked as a sales representative for a small business. She later left her job to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. Swirnow taught briefly at a local high school before returning to Syracuse to complete her teacher education. There, she earned a Master of Science in Education from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management.Swirnow's education has prepared her for a career as a teacher. Her degree in Retail and Marketing has taught her how to sell products and Ruthie has taught her how to develop relationships with students. She has also taught at a local high school and at a school located in a rural area. Overall, her education has prepared her for a career in teaching.
