Jason Daoust was born in 1978 in a small town in central Canada. Daoust is of Canadian, French, Irish, and German descent. He completed his Secondary School in 1997 and took a year of undergraduate Studies in Communications and Information Science at the Université de Montréal. In 2000, Daoust qualified as a draftsman and began his career as a sales representative with a small company. Daoust soon left the company to pursue a career in research. Daoust turned his attention to biotech and founded his own company in 2006. Daoust is currently a Director of Business Development at EllabIndustry of Pharmaceuticals. Daoust has been a sales representative, account manager, and senior account manager for many years. He is known for his experience in new business development, biostorage, ISO 9001, cGMP, ISO 17025, business intelligence, and GMP. Daoust is a self-taught draftsman and has helped many startups, small businesses, and major companies in the biotech and drug industry. He is also a member of the board of directors of Ellab Industry of Pharmaceuticals.
