It was an amazing opportunity to create a new category and see how our forward-thinking customers like AdRoll, Box, HubSpot, Optimizely, New Relic, and Zendesk ran their sales and marketing operations. I started with Salesforce when it was roughly 140 employees and helped grow it 70x over 11 years. I spent the first three years in sales where I made club. The next seven were spent in product marketing, product management, and corporate marketing. I spent two years in the products organization working on the Ideas product, public sites, and the early versions of Chatter.
