💼 Past Experience

Working experience in the entertainment industry has taught Harry Evry a lot about developing and presenting interactive experiences. As a New Media Developer, Harry found himself working on many different types of projects. His most notable experience was working on a VR game development project with Attractions, where he helped contribute to the design, development, and production of the game. Harry also spent some time working on Exhibits, where he assisted with the design and production of exhibits for theme parks and amusement parks. Harry has also worked as a Technical Director on shows and movies, and has worked on many different types of software installations and firmware changes. Now that Harry is a Professor at California Lutheran University, he is more focused on his research and teaching than his past projects. His notable research areas include VR and Virtual Entertainment, as well as Post Production techniques. In his research, Harry is analyzing and researching the effects of spatial audio on interactive experiences. He is also interested in developing 3D game engines and building 3D games himself. Finally, Harry is an author, and has written two books on the various aspects of interactive entertainment. One book is about post production, and the other is about VR and Virtual Production.

I have over 10 years' professional experience in the industry of entertainment. In my role as Professor, I teach New Media, Game Design, Game Development, VR and Virtual Entertainment. I am also a technical designer, developer, producer, tech director, vfx, media, software engineer, demonstrator and author.Previously, I have worked as a technical designer, developer, producer, vfx, media, software engineer, demonstrator, and author. My most recent role was as a head of education at Virtual Reality ARC. There, I was responsible for managing and leading the development of the program at California Lutheran University. In my previous role, I also worked as a post production coordinator and as an assistant to the president at Lorimar Telepictures. I have a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts from California Lutheran University.I have been involved in the software and firmware engineering industry for over 10 years. I have worked in product development with several software companies. My previous roles include working as a technical director and product consultant for its Alive Company, as well as working as a professor at Academy of Game Entertainment Technology and at Studio Arts, Ltd.I am an author and haveauthored many reports and papers on various software and firmware engineering topics.
