When Greg Bergin decided to pursue a career in politics, he quickly had to decide his degree. Bergin's focus was on political science, but he also had a minor in history. It wasn't long before Bergin realized thatpolitics wasn't his only focus. He also wanted to have a solid knowledge of the United States and its history.So Bergin decided to go to college and get his degree in political science. He was relatively satisfied with his education, but he knew he wanted to do more. Bergin decided to do a masters in political science. At this point, he realized that he wanted to work in politics.Bergin completed his masters in political science in 2016. He then set his sights on getting a job in politics. Bergin applied to many jobs, but he was unsuccessful. He decided to take a job at the Republican National Committee.Bergin's time at the RNC was a great experience. He was able to learn a lot about politics and the body of laws that govern the United States. He was also able to gain experience working in politics. Bergin is now a deputy field director for Donald Trump's 2020 reelection campaign. Bergin is very happy with his experience working for the RNC and is excited to see what 2019 will bring.
