Greg’s healthcare career began at 15 years old when he started working at The Kirton & McConkie Law Firm, Inc. as a marketing representative. He worked his way up to sales representative and eventually became Vice President/President at the company. Greg then moved on to become President/CEO of Utah Hospital Association and held that position for three years. During that time, he led the company through several difficult financial times and helped it become one of the largest employers in the Utah Medicaid system. Greg also was a member of the Utah State Senate from January 2003 to August 2009. There, he focused on issues within the Legislature that mattered to health care professionals. Although he did not serve as the No. 3 votegetter in the Senate, he played a significant role in the passage of several important healthcare bills.
