Sole recruiter for InstaEDU.com (Live Tutoring platform) which Chegg Acquired. I tripled the size of our Engineering, Mobile, DevOps, Product and UX teams. Location is in San Francisco.
Key Technologies I sourced for: Java and Python backends, with our front end: Backbone, Angular, React, Node, D3, homegrown JS framework, Jquery, CSS3 and HTML5.
My sourcing is comprised of these tools and sources: inferred searches, Hired.com, Linkedin, Gild, TalentBin, Github, Angel.co, BayChi, Connectifier, Meetups, Cocktail Mixers, internal referrals, and 2% of the time leveraging boutique firms as needed for critical hires.

Helped build the recruiting function from scratch. Hired 2 sales recruiters,1 recruiting coordinator, 2 technical Recruiters reporting to me that were based in Seattle). Created the foundation and process that scaled the company from 280-1200+ in the time I was running Technical recruiting.
In parallel to working for DocuSign I also was the sole recruiter for building out the DocuSign for Real-estate Vertical based in Naperville IL. That company was called Cartavi.
Primary function was building out Product Development: Front end / Back End Software Engineering, UX, QA, Partner integrations team, Product Management teams, Growth Teams which encompassed Engineering, Data Science, Product and UX.
Built the special ops team that was responsible for rewriting a monolithic .NET stack to an entirely Node JS front-end application (Backbone, Express, Redis, supported by .NET Rest API's and a brand new UX/UI/Workflow). Basically if you use DocuSign currently, it is because of the team I built out.
I helped DocuSign become non-dependent of Agencies in SF within 3 months and then Seattle 5 months later drastically saving our company the financial burden of agency fees.
Spearheaded 5 Cocktail Mixer recruiting events.
Hired 130+ team members of all levels throughout our organization through direct sourcing, internal referrals, strategic events and inferred searches.
Built a Microsoft integration team in Seattle that built out DocuSign into MS Office 365, Sharepoint and Dynamics. (Sourced, Hired 20+ SME’s in 4 weeks)

From June 2012 to November 2012 (6 months) San Francisco Bay AreaSenior Technical Recruiter (Consulting Gig) @ Took on a consulting opportunity with StumbleUpon to help them become non-dependent of Agencies.
Primary focus was to train their recruiters, and work closely with hiring teams to establish compelling job descriptions, and hiring goals. In 5 months, I was able to hire 15 engineers. From January 2012 to May 2012 (5 months) San Francisco Bay AreaSenior Recruiter - G&A (Consulting Gig) @ Sole recruiter supporting the VP of Marketing and the VP of Business Development for all 4 verticals at Linkedin. Primary focus was Online, Consumer, Enterprise Marketing, Product Marketing, and Business Development roles. This was a 6 month contract that got extended to 10 months. From April 2011 to January 2012 (10 months) San Francisco Bay AreaMobile Application Recruiter (Consulting Gig) @ Sole recruiter in charge of all mobile engineering recruiting efforts in the bay area and in central europe. Recruiting team size was 5. Primary focus was on hiring full stack mobile developers (ios and android), QA, Product Mgmt, and UX for Mobile. Grew the mobile teams in Brisbane, and Palo alto from 12-38 and Central Europe locations from 7-16. Spearheading / Hosting IOS and Android Meetups at Skype and other locations. From September 2010 to April 2011 (8 months) Lead Technical Recruiter (Consulting Gig) @ Sole recruiter that took Slide from 90 employees to 125 employees with no agency fee's and no LinkedIn Recruiter Seat. I was able to achieve this milestone utilizing a free LinkedIn account for the first 6 months and then upgrade to premium in conjunction with using tools like jigsaw.com / data.com and hosting python Meetup’s at our office.
