As Head of Marketing reporting directly to the CEO, my organization handled all aspects of marketing including all acquisition and traffic initiatives, financial and forecasting models, advanced analytics for both marketing activities and all in-game analytics, brand platform, public and media relations, agency/partner relationships, online/offline media planning, spend, site-level SEO, and managed all community relations, including all formats of social media. Key accomplishments include: - Developed and launched 20+ national TV commercials. Developed analytics to quantify direct impact of commercials and media spend.- Built advanced predictive modeling targeting increased retention and improved customer ROI. Developed models that generated a 20%+ increase in game conversion rate and developed predictive analytics that forecasted future revenues with 90% accuracy.- Garnered 17 industry awards including “Family Game of the Decade.” From January 2008 to June 2014 (6 years 6 months) Austin, Texas AreaVice President Marketing @ Hoover's Inc. I was promoted from Director to Sr. Director to Vice President and Head of Marketing in under three years. I led all marketing activities for this $100M+ stand-alone subsidiary of Dun &Bradstreet. As Vice President of Marketing I reported directly to the president and owned the $14M+ marketing budget.
