Elia Frapolli, born in January of 1984 in Parma, Italy, first studied at USI, where she obtained her Master Economics and Communication degree in 2004. After completing her studies, she then moved to Switzerland to take up her employment at Swiss Intercontinental Airlines, where she was a part of the organization for six years. InJanuary of 2006, she left Swiss Intercontinental Airlines to take up her current position as a Manager of the marketing team at American Express, Mediterranean Europe Region. There, she is responsible for all aspects of American Express’s Mediterranean Europe Regions, overseeing both business and marketing operations. In her role, she is responsible for major developments within the company, such as new store openings and expansions, as well as developing and implementing marketing plans for the regions.Frapolli is extremely efficiency oriented, and loves working in team environment. Her previous experience in a multinational organization has taught her to identify and eliminated opportunities where she could have improved performance. She is also extremely detail oriented, preferring to take her time in searching for solutions to problems.
