In 2003, he left TRISSA BUSINESS GROUP to join the shadows of Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, where he was responsible for strategic planning and economic analysis. He then rejoined the Business School of the University of Mexico in 2004 as a Strategic Planning Director, where he worked for three years. From January 2002 to January 2004, Trevino was also a Management Consultant with Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Trevino graduated from the Business School of the University of Mexico in January 2002 with a degree in Business Strategy. Eduardo Trevino's Education:He completed his high school education in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1994. Trevino then went on to attend the Executive Education and Exponential Leadership program at Singularity University from January 2017 to January 2020. There, he learned how to create and utilize exponential technologies in order to solve difficult business problems. Trevino then completed an additional program in design Thinking and Innovation at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in January 2016. This program taught Trevino how to develop and execute innovative plans and initiatives. Trevino then completed a business administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin in January 2004. He then completed a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Monterrey National School of Business in January 1995. Lastly, Trevino earned a Master of Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in January 1999.

Trevino then left Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público to become Strategic Planning Director at Tantum Group Mexico from January 2004 to January 2008, where he was responsible for all strategic planning and economic policy.
