💼 Past Experience

Since starting out in 1996 as a software engineer, I've worked on everything from simple bedroom apps to large Microsoft products - on a team of people, all of whom share in the responsibility for the success of our product.Microsoft Research is a dynamic and Glass-enveloping environment where people come and go, and that allows me to grow and learn most effectively. It also operates with a culture that prizes 150% effort, produces great work, and is constantly pushing the envelope.I'm not the only one enjoying the fruits of Microsoft Research. Our team has much to thank the wonderful people who have placed their trusts in us. Our advisor, who is one of the world's leading experts in this area, has graciously agreed to serve as our advisor for the next 5 years. This means working with some of the brightest minds in the world, and I can't wait to help shape their future work. I'm also privileged to work with some of the world's most experienced citizens in technology, who are themselves Piscean thinkers - they are constantly exploring new ways to improve how technology is used and integrated in our lives.I'm not the only one enjoying the fruits of Microsoft Research. Ed Ph.D.'s professional background:Ed Ph.D. has a degree in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a degree in Economics from Harvard Business School. He has also completed the Kellogg School of Management's Executive Development Programs, which focus on business management and decision-making.

💡 Technical & Interpersonal Skills

He has over 10 years of experience as a technology leader, advisor and currently in the executive office. From his time at Microsoft Research, he has lead a number of initiatives in interactive systems and games industry. His previous positions have included Founder and Technology Leader at Microsoft Research, Advisor at Microsoft Research, and currently in the executive office. His interests lie in technology leadership and expansiveness, as well as working obligations with a team.He has a background in Distributed Architecture, Network Theory and Operating Systems, and is drenched with experience in Executive Office and Systems Administration.
