At different times i was CEO, CMO, CPO, Head of Channel and Strategic Partnerships before leading this past two years organic and inorganic strategy for the security and API BU's inside the F500 technology company that eventually acquired my last start-up.
At my most recent start-up, Layer 7 technologies (acquired by CA Technologies in 2013) i helped define early products in the SOA space and drove the pivot into the emerging mobile and cloud markets for API technology. My team helped create and launch new mobile access, cloud connectivity and developer community products that today represent the majority of revenue for the company. In my capacity as CMO my team drove demand generation, PR and analyst relations resulting in 3 consecutive years as both Gartner MQ Leader and Forrester Wave Leader. While at layer 7 I helped build out the initial VAR network to expand the company internationally and drove both ISV and SI reseller relationships. Working alongside the CEO and CFO i helped raise two rounds of founding and played a critical role in multiple corporate strategy engagements that eventually lead to our acquisition.
At CA Technologies i have led the team responsible for shaping our portfolio strategy and identification of potential opportunities for organic development and acquisition. My team worked alongside corporate M&A to evaluate and prosecute prospective deals in security and API related segments spanning security, integration and devops.
