It’s a big challenge trying to prove to the world that we have built an advice firm that is not constrained and driven by product - but it is a challenge I welcomely accept. My belief is that ‘advice’ truly adds value and can make a huge difference in the lives of those who act on it.
The vision of our firm is to assist the leaders and future leaders of business in Australia to become organised in relation to their personal finances, and also to link this to their overall health and lifestyle objectives. We are relentless in our pursuit of finding clients who will benefit from our advice, and humbled by the feedback from those who have opted to engage our service. It’s about time someone stepped up and delivered an advice offer that differs from the rest of the market and that is exactly what we have done at Advocate Private Wealth.
Our recent research project showed 72% of participants believe that financial organisation and happiness are related, but over 70% of people spend less than one hour per week on their personal finances. I feel that this lack of attention to personal finances causes stress in people’s lives and stress has a funny habit of doing two things: keeping us awake at night; and keeping us asleep in the morning.
At Advocate, we work with successful people to address their five biggest concerns:
1) Preserving and growing their wealth;
2) Protecting themselves and their assets in the event of the unforeseen;
3) Managing their tax position;
4) Taking care of their heirs; and
5) Charitable giving and making a difference.
We bring these important aspects together through collaboration with other professional service providers and we specialise in evidence based investing and transferring risk to insurance companies to de-risk our clients overall financial positions.
If you would like to join us on this journey, either as a client or as a business partner, I would love to hear from you.
