He has been a research scientist at the American Chemical Society since 1998 and has held the appointment of manager of research at the society since 2007. David L James has over 10 years’ experience in the amusement trade, having worked in the USA, Europe, and Asia. He started his career as aQuality Assurance Manager (QAM) at a small family-owned business, before moving on to Quality Systems Manager/Quality Systems Manager at an industry leading IBM. David also held various other positions in technical and corporate sales. In his later years, he started working in purchasing and Fleet Management at various international companies. He has vast experience in ISO and WCAG Phase 1 Standards and has written several papers on quality management for his company.
