💼 Past Experience

I have worked as an Art Director at One More Game and NCsoft since 2007. I am responsible for the graphic design, animation, and worldbuilding for games at One More Game, as well as creating new content for the company’s online service. I was also responsible for the design and development of the company’s computer software, including titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Sims 4, Mass Effect and EA’s own sports titles.Prior to joining One More Game, I was the Art Director at Electronic Arts, where I conceived and directed the design and worldbuilding for the company’s online service and software titles. I held this position from January 1995 to January 1997. At Electronic Arts, I was also responsible for the design and development of the company’s computer software, including titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Sims 4, and Madden NFL.From January 1993 to January 1995, I was the Art Director atSquare Enix, where I conceived and directed the design and worldbuilding for the company’s video game titles. I responsible for the design and development of the company’s software titles such asSouls-r-us, rainfall, and Final Fantasy XII. I am also responsible for the art direction for the company’s anime titles such asigun and department 13.I received my BFA from the University of America at New York in 1991.

Daniel Dociu has a B.S. in industrial and product design from Academia de Arte Vizuale 'Ioan Andreescu' in Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 1978. He then went on to obtain a M.S. in industrial and product design from the same school in 1982.Since 1982, Daniel Dociu has been working as a research associate at the University of Iowa's College of Engineering and Applied Science. In that role, he has conducted research in the field of product design.Most notably, Daniel Dociu's work has focused on the area of product design for software. He has published a number of papers in this area, and has authored a book on the subject.Daniel Dociu is currently a research associate at the University of Iowa's College of Engineering and Applied Science.
