There, he was responsible for all aspects of the company, from managing the business operations to hiring and firing employees. For his work there, Dan was also named one of The Globe and Mail's Top Ten Leaders in Business.Dan Caruso has also been involved in startup companies before, most notably Aspect Networks where he was the Founder and CEO from October 2004 to May 2006. At ICG Communications, he was the President and CEO from August 1997 to April 2003. There, he helped to turn around the company and make it successful, helping it to achieve profitability and becoming one of the leading telephony companies in the world.In addition to his work in business, Dan Caruso is also an experienced advocate for various causes, including the environment and animal rights. He has been involved with numerous charitable organizations throughout his life, and has currently leads the Giving Tree Fund, which focuses on giving back to the community.
