In his career, Chad has had the opportunity to help people succeed in ways they never thought possible. In his time at each company, Chad has developed and oversaw the company’s most up-to-date and cutting-edge products. He has also had the opportunity to work with various countries and industries. Chad currently works for Vast.com as a CPO.Chad has a B.A. from Rice University and an M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

🎓 Education

As a Mechanical Engineering student at Vanderbilt University, Chad Bockius was already well-versed in the industry. But his experience didn't stop there- he also studied at the highly respected Vianney School of Business. After completing his undergraduate studies, Bockius quickly followed in the footsteps of industry luminaries such as Dale Carnegie and Arthur Ashe, both of whom had a harsh but successful instruction process. This combination of hard work and dedications paid off- Bockius credit his time at Vanderbilt with a strongUndergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering that he can use to his advantage when looking to pursue a career in the industry.Since leaving Vanderbilt, Bockius has continued to act as an accomplished instructor. He has been a part of the mechanical engineering program at the University of Utah since 2002 and has also taught at the graduate level at the University of Utah and Northern Arizona University. While his current role at the University of Utah is that of an Assistant Professor, he has also been invited to give keynote addresses at various academic conferences. His experience as an outstanding instructor and teacher is something that he talks about constantly with his students.In addition to his teaching opportunities, Bockius has also been active in the federal government. He has currently resided in Washington, D.C. since 2011 and is a part of the technical staff for the House of Representatives HEA Committee on Technology, Innovation and House Administration. He also authored articles for a number of academic journals, most notably The Journal of Engineering Education.Being able to offer an impressive education and experience to his students firsthand has given Chad Bockius the foundation he needs for a successful career in the field of mechanical engineering. This foundation has already led him to be highly sought-after by industry, and he knows that his success is only going to increase as he continues to grow as an educator.
