Today, Branndon is a member of the Executive Management Team & CIO for American Municipal Power, where since 2009 he has lead a complete IT transformation, was named Intelligent Utility's 2012 CIO of the Year, recognized in 2014 as one of the 20 Most Innovative CIOs, and awarded the 2015 Frost & Sullivan CIO Impact Award. Branndon oversees all information technology, information security and SCADA functions, projects and people. He is responsible for setting, facilitating and leading technology strategy and tactical execution.

In December 2008 Branndon resigned as CEO and completed the sale of his share of Kelley | Price Technology.
