Brandon Kearse's education began in the spring of 2014 when he completed an Advanced Studies Program at Aiken High School. After completing his studies at Aiken High School, Kearse move on to study at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received his Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009. In his research work, Brandon Kearse focused on the development of transportation solutions. This research work focused on the study of MARC trains, light rail systems, and Senator Cotton's "6x6" transportation plan. Additionally, in his Masters of Science degree,Brandon Kearse focused on the development of transportation solutions within the context of urban areas. This work included the development of a transportation report for the city of Boston. Ultimately, this study was focused on the development of transportation solutions that would serve the city of Boston within the context of its growth. The final product of this study was a report that provides a comprehensive look at the transportation solutions that would serve the city of Boston. The report served as a basis for the development of the city's 2013 infrastructure plan.
