💼 Past Experience

He oversees all aspects of scouting andplayer recruitment for the team, includingbut is not limited to: player signing, player training, player Leoninha Sao Paulo. Prior to this, he was the Director of Scouting and Executive Director of Football at Fluminense Football Club in Brazil from January 2007 until January 2011. He also has experience working with FIFA U/20 World Cups and Brazilian U/17 World Cups.

Bruno Costa has a degree in Sports Management from the University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2001-2003), and a degree in Administration/Gestão Esportiva from the Univercidade da Cidade Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) (2003-2005). He has also finished a 1st Year studying Sports Management, Sports Management and finished his level 1 in Brazil to transfer to Florida International University (1999-2000). There he was studying Sports Management, Sports Management, with a focus on Event Planning and Management.Bruno Costa is currently working as a Sporting Event Supervisor in São Paulo, Brazil at a sport festival, with a view to progressing further. He is also in the process of studying for his Master’s in Sport Management, with the intention of becoming a Sporting Event Manager.

Bruno Costa is a relevant, successful, and well-respected senior executive with more than 45 Titles in Executive Management and Scouting, including 10 titles as a supervisor of football academies. He has worked extensively in Brazil and in Europe, most recently as the Director of Scouting for Fluminense (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) in Brazil and as the Assistant GM for the NASL's Fort Lauderdale Strikers in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, US from January 2016 to March 2017. Costa is also responsible for the Technical and Administrative duties of the soccer department at San Jose Earthquakes (MLS) and has significant experience in scouting and management of Brazilian youth national teams. He also held the role of Scout and Identification for The Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the NASL from January 2016 to March 2017.Before join the Earthquakes, Costa was with the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (Brazil Soccer Federation) as theadle of Scouting and Executivo de Futebol (Director of Football). From February 2012 to December 2015, he was also the Director of Scouting and monitoring of athletes for the Brazilian national team,Bleacher Report reports. He has experience in managing teams of players, having won both the FIFA Youth World Cups in 2003 and 2005.Bruno Costa holds a Degree in Political Science from the University of Brasília (Brasília, Brazil).
