Arlene Abrahams's educational background and work readiness are based on her undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Town, as well as her undergraduate degree in psychology from Immaculata High School in Cape Town. Abrahams has experience working in a variety of roles in Education, Psychology and Human Resources. Arlene Abrahams has 10 years of experience in the HR field. Abrahams began her HR career at Phillip Morris International in 2006 as a Senior Executive Human Resources Manager. There she worked with a number of HR cohorts, most notably the Africa HR team, which managed human resources for the African operations of Phillip Morris International. From there she transferred to Diageo in 2015 as the AFRICA Head of Talent Engagement. Abrahams has worked extensively with Talent Management, Acquisitions, Performance Management, succession planning, and forecasting. Abrahams has also successfully prosecuted human resources marketing campaigns and management processes in the African market.
