Our team of 25 experts, split equally into 2 teams; clinical and regulatory, have a great deal of experience gained in a variety of industry backgrounds. Our expertise includes knowledge and experience of a range of healthcare industry sectors including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals and medical devices, and the required scientific disciplines within these industries coming from manufacturing, non-clinical and clinical development backgrounds. From May 2012 to January 2015 (2 years 9 months) Head of Business Development @ Sourcing and managing new business opportunities for Phase I to IV study and site management capabilities and patient recruitment for studies within the CNS arena. Responsibilities included managing and co-ordinating all feasibility and proposal activity, management of all marketing activity, including networking, conferences and exhibitions. Customer base included CROs, and biotechs and pharmas ranging from virtual to large top 20 organisations. From February 2011 to May 2012 (1 year 4 months) Senior Business Development Manager @ Global Account Manager for Phase I and Phase IIa clinical studies. Sourcing and managing new business for the full range of Early Phase CRO activities provided by the company inlcuding medical writing, data management, clinical conduct, regulatory affairs. Responsibilities included line management of sales executives.
Customer base included large and mid-sized pharma, biotech and virtual companies in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia. From January 2008 to February 2011 (3 years 2 months) Business Development Manager/European Clinical Supply Services Specialist @ Account management and new business development of Pharmaceutical Development projects for Cardinal Health PT&S (now Catalent Pharma). Responsibilities involved cross-selling of services involving drug development, manufacturing and and packaging for stability testing, clinical trials and commercial purposes. As European Specialist for Clinical Supply Services, I was a strategic manager of this area, directing sales and marketing operations for 13 BD people across the region.
Customer base included top 20 pharma, mid-sized and virtual companies. From 2001 to 2007 (6 years) Medical Sales Representative @ Territory management of East, North and West Hertfordshire. Selling prescription medicines to GPs. Consistently beat sales targets with an average of 111% achieved across a range of 3 products. From 1999 to 2001 (2 years) Consumer Health Sales Representative @ Territory management of an extensive area including London to the North East of the Thames and the whole of East Anglia. Selling OTC products to pharmacies and buying groups. Awarded "Newcomer of the Year" for 1996, and was runner-up to "Sales Representative of the Year" in the same year.
