💼 Past Experience

Italo was born in Rome, Emilia-Romagna in 1969. After completing his studies at the University of Rome’s School of Engineering (1988-1991), he worked in various laboratories and companies in Italy. Hethen became a research associate at CERN (European National Research commissioner’s Fund), in Switzerland, from 1992-1994, and lectured in analytical physics at the University of Strasbourg (1994-1996). From 1997-99 he was a staff scientist at CNRS (French National Research Agency), in Paris. From 1999-2001 he was a research associate at CERN. In 2001 he became associate professor at the University of Florence, and in 2006 professor at the University of California, Irvine. He is currently the head of the Department of Physical Chemistry, University of California, Irvine.He has published over 120 papers in scientific journals.Mr. Pizani has a wide international experience, having been Resident Scientist at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of the European Molecular Technology Organization (EMTO) in Geneva, between 2001 and 2006, and a Senior Research Associate at CERN from 1992 to 2001. He has also been a Visiting Professor at the University of Hawaii, and a visiting scientist at the University of Utah (1998-1999).

🎓 Education

Alexander Pizani has a degree in Business Strategy and Economics from FGV, and an MBA from the Getulio Vargas Foundation. He also has a degree in College, Engineering from the Instituto tecnologia maua. For the last five years he has been teaching at the FIB University in Brazil. He is also a member of the intellectual advisory board of the startup accelerator, Initialized Ventures.
