I'm an entrepreneur, investor, and MBA. I come to San Francisco via the UK, India and the Philippines. I'm fascinated by the promise of technology and how it interacts with emerging markets here in the US and abroad. Right now, I've just finished my MBA where I was president of the Berkeley Entrepreneur's Association, and am working with a number of family offices on venture projects. Before, I built a startup in the luxury space, did venture capital for a family office in the UK, operations in the Philippines, and built the digital brand for a seventeen billion dollar firm in India.

Led construction of a web and brand identity for the startup from concept to finished product.
Developed relationships with major exercise equipment manufacturers, leading to ongoing partnerships. From October 2012 to June 2013 (9 months) Operations Manager @ Paracale Gold is a gold mine focused on responsible mining in the Paracale region.
Built communications and mining infrastructure (cellphone tower for entire valley, fueling station) in new partnerships with national telecomm providers.
Managed site supplies (Fuel, Cyanide etc.) and the infrastructure of $35 million mine site on a day-to-day basis, secured continued operations despite lack of funding for over 3 months, negotiated favorable terms with vendors.
Led contract & reagent sourcing for operational plant; reduced costs by 25% compared to previous year.
Delivered Filipino permits required to commission plant – only firm permitted that year. From January 2012 to September 2012 (9 months) Senior Associate @ Major Family Office with investments in emerging markets, mining, and biotech.
Built pitch and value proposition to raise USD $45 million for portfolio firm, creating investor documentation & analyzing financial models
Analyzed global gold and coal industries and likely trends in demand, leading to secondment to minesite as on ground VC representative.
Consulted with (portfolio company) on understanding of app space and development of an app strategy. From June 2011 to January 2012 (8 months) Digital Marketing Lead @ A $17 billion Indian conglomerate with investments in automotives, tractors, real estate, IT and others.
Led four person team with a $5 million budget building Mahindra’s website (www.mahindra.com) from start to finish. Site won best Corporate Site at IAMAI awards and honoree at the Webbys.
Formed a digital strategy for the Mahindra Group (100+ plus companies in dozens of geographies), working with 11 external agencies on three continents. Worked directly with the Mahindra Group CEO on new media strategy. Projects included identifying shortcomings in Mahindra’s film & media company, as well as training the CEO in social media (@anandmahindra).
