Yichen Yuan

Yichen Yuan currently serves as Co-founder and Chief Designer at Boyatt Limited, where he leverages his extensive expertise in UX Design and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) to create innovative solutions that prioritize public well-being. In this leadership role, Yichen spearheads the design and development of user-centric products that address real-world challenges, emphasizing accessibility, sustainability, and social impact. His hands-on approach involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders—to ensure that each product not only meets technical specifications but also delivers meaningful user experiences.

One of Yichen’s key projects at Boyatt Limited involves developing a comprehensive women’s security ecosystem, which integrates motion design, user experience design, and product management to enhance safety and empowerment. His expertise in motion design and 3D art plays a crucial role in creating engaging, intuitive interfaces that foster user trust and engagement. Additionally, Yichen’s background in large language models (LLMs) and Python enables him to incorporate advanced AI-driven features, making the products more adaptive and intelligent.

Yichen’s prior experience includes an internship at Tencent Holdings Ltd., where he contributed to the design of the “cover promotion” feature for WeChat Pay, gaining valuable insights into large-scale digital ecosystem design. His recognition with the Excellence Award at the Greater Bay Area STEM Excellence Awards 2023 and successful fundraising efforts through HK Tech 300 underscore his innovative mindset and leadership in tech-driven social initiatives.
