Val Englert

Val Englert serves as the Communications Coordinator at The Parents' Place of Maryland, Inc. (PPMD), where she leverages her extensive background in hospitality and event management to create impactful experiences for families and communities across the state. With a degree in hospitality from East Carolina University and a wealth of hands-on experience, Val has honed her skills in logistics, organization, and communication, making her an invaluable asset to PPMD.

In her current role, Val is responsible for orchestrating a diverse array of events, including corporate meetings, nonprofit fundraisers, and statewide conferences. Notably, she played a pivotal role in planning PPMD’s 20th Anniversary Gala: An Evening of Chocolate, a signature event that not only celebrated the organization’s milestones but also raised crucial funds for its ongoing initiatives. Additionally, Val spearheaded PPMD’s Anti-Bullying campaign, which aimed to raise awareness and foster a supportive environment for children and families affected by bullying.

Beyond event planning, Val excels in public relations, social media management, and website oversight, ensuring that PPMD’s mission and programs reach a broad audience. Her expertise in marketing strategies enables her to effectively promote events and engage stakeholders, enhancing the organization’s visibility and impact.
