Thorsten Gebhardt

Thorsten Gebhardt currently serves as the Program Manager for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) within the CISO office at Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf (UKD), one of Germany’s leading academic medical centers. In this pivotal role, Thorsten is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the hospital’s information security framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR. His expertise in enterprise architecture, IT service management, and security governance enables him to align the hospital’s complex IT infrastructure with best practices, mitigating risks associated with sensitive patient data and critical healthcare operations.
