Her expertise lies in developing and implementing innovative sustainable building solutions that align with ESG objectives, with a particular focus on integrating circular design principles, Nature-based Solutions, and climate resilience measures into both new constructions and refurbishment projects. Tessel’s leadership in establishing the Sustainable Building Design Business Unit has been instrumental in positioning Longevity Partners as a key player in the Netherlands’ green building sector.

Her work involves guiding diverse stakeholders—including architects, developers, and investors—through the complex process of embedding sustainability into project workflows, from initial concept to installation. Tessel’s proficiency in securing green certifications such as BREEAM New Construction and WELL underscores her commitment to high-performance, environmentally responsible design. She leverages her skills in tools like SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to develop compelling visualizations and strategic presentations that communicate sustainability benefits effectively.
