Sylvain Ponserre currently serves as the Data and Risk Analysis Manager at the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission to provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive information on internal displacement worldwide. In this capacity, Sylvain leads the Data Management and Analysis HUB, overseeing the development and implementation of innovative data analysis, visualization, and risk assessment tools. His strategic approach ensures that IDMC remains at the forefront of displacement monitoring, supporting policymakers, humanitarian agencies, and development actors with actionable insights.

A key focus of Sylvain’s work involves spearheading the development of the latest iteration of the Global Displacement Risk Model.
