Subram Sivanandam

Subram Sivanandam currently serves as the BIM Manager for Penta-Ocean Construction Company Limited, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the digital transformation of complex infrastructure projects. In his capacity, Subram oversees the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows across multiple project phases, ensuring seamless collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. His expertise is particularly instrumental in the successful delivery of the CR117 Bright Hill Interchange Station & Tunnels project, a high-profile underground infrastructure development involving design, construction, and completion of an underground interchange station connected to the existing TEL station via a new subway link.

In this role, Subram is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive BIM Execution Plans (BEP), which serve as strategic roadmaps to optimize project delivery through 3D modeling, clash detection, and virtual construction simulations. His proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit (Architecture and MEP), Navisworks, and Synchro 4D enables him to coordinate complex design and construction workflows effectively. By leveraging VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) methodologies, he facilitates 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation, enhancing project planning, risk mitigation, and resource management.

Subram’s deep understanding of BIM management principles, combined with his hands-on experience in clash detection, model coordination, and construction sequencing, allows him to streamline workflows and reduce project timelines. His strategic approach to BIM implementation not only improves accuracy and collaboration but also ensures compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
