His international activity, initiated through apprenticeship in large jazz orchestras led by Phil Wilson, Herb Pomeroy, and George Russell, has cemented his role as a global ambassador for jazz. Whether performing as a solo artist, leading ensembles, or producing recordings for prominent labels, Sten Hostfalt continues to push creative boundaries and foster cross-cultural musical dialogues across continents.
