In this strategic position, Simon leads a dedicated team of 17 professionals focused on designing and optimizing the architecture that underpins Volkswagen’s innovative digital services. His expertise spans across defining the vision for seamless in-car connectivity, enhancing user experience through advanced speech recognition, signal processing, and pattern recognition technologies, and ensuring the robustness of digital signal processing and communication systems.

One of Simon’s key projects involves establishing a new InCar Applications Development cluster, which has enabled Volkswagen to develop proprietary applications tailored specifically for commercial vehicle customers.
