Shernice L. currently serves as the Head of DEIB & Talent at Citizens of the World Los Angeles, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Her leadership in developing and executing a comprehensive DEIB vision has been instrumental in fostering an inclusive school culture across seven campuses, serving over 3,000 students and supporting a dedicated team of more than 450 employees. Shernice’s strategic approach involves crafting innovative policies and programs that embed social justice principles into everyday practices, ensuring that equity remains at the forefront of organizational growth.

In her role, she has founded and built the organization’s first-ever DEIB team, establishing a framework that aligns with the broader talent strategy and organizational goals.
