Sergio Labeaga currently serves as the Head of RAMS, Quality, and Cybersecurity within Stadler’s ETCS Business Unit, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the safety, reliability, and security of railway signaling systems across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. In this strategic leadership position, Sergio oversees a multidisciplinary team responsible for ensuring compliance with international standards such as EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129, while also integrating cutting-edge cybersecurity measures into critical railway systems. His expertise in RAMS engineering, functional safety, and systems engineering underpins the development and deployment of robust ETCS solutions, contributing to Stadler’s reputation for innovation and safety in the rail industry.

A key focus of Sergio’s role involves managing complex projects related to pre-commissioning, system validation, and safety certification, leveraging his extensive experience with railway signaling, ERTMS, and GIS systems.
